Providing a variety of digital I/O functions, the ET-2254(P) module is an IP-based Ethernet I/O monitoring and control module. The module can be remotely controlled through a 10/100 M Ethernet network by using Modbus TCP/UDP protocol. Modbus has become a de facto standard communications protocol in industrial applications, and is now the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. This makes the ET-2254(P) module being perfectly integrated with the HMI, SCADA, PLC or other software systems.

The ET-2254(P) provides 16-channel Universal DIO. Each I/O port can be configured as DI or DO port. The ET-2254 provides Digital Output channel can drive 100 mA load, while the ET-2254P provides Digital Output channel can drive 400 mA load. There are configurable power-on and safe values for Digital Output. With 2 Ethernet ports, the ET-2254(P) allows daisy chain connection which enables flexibility in locating devices
